The North Face construct these durable children's Ski Pants from their own fully waterproof and breathable HyVent® fabric. After being stitched together, all of the seams are taped to create a  completely waterproof barrier, that sheds snow with ease and stops wind in its tracks. Heatseeker™ Insulation is a technical, synthetic filling that traps warm air very effectively within the tiny air spaces among its fibres. Because this insulation is so effective, a thick layer is not required to maintain plenty of warmth; great for youngsters who want to feel as unencumbered and as free to move about as they possibly can.

Hand warming pockets with zips provide a great spot to store an emergency chocolate bar and an essential snack. The adjustable waist tabs are great for tailoring the fit depending on the number of layers worn beneath and also it means that you can buy them big and cinch them in for the first season. Belt loops are included for the same reason. Adjustable and removable braces are supplied again to individualise the fit to your child, and to keep the pant from slipping down over the day. EZ-grow hems are included in the pant cuff  -  The North Face's clever pant lengthening facility that allows you to undo the red row of stitches inside the hem to grow the leg length by a couple of inches, so that they can wear them for more than one season.

There are internal snow gaiters that are superbly effective at keeping snow out of their boots, no matter how deep the powder or how boisterous their play. We have found this feature absolutely essential in any Ski Pant for our three young children - we get to stay and play outside far longer when they stay dry and warm. Reflective 3M logos aid night time visibility and reinforced kick patches at the hem help to protect against wear and tear from ski edges.
