The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket

For skiing all-conditions, all-day you will need a fully waterproof, warm Ski Jacket. The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket gives you just that with its warm Heatseeker lining, waterproof HyVent fabric and technical features developed by The North Face's Ski Team. The Contrin Insulated Ski Jacket's neat style looks good too as you carve fast arcs in awe-inspiring scenery.

Waterproof & Warm

The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket uses a two-pronged attack to enable you to stay out as long as the lifts remain open. Firstly there's HyVent 2-layer fabric - fully waterproof, fully seam sealed and really breathable - to keep you dry in storm conditions. Then The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket has a layer of Heatseeker insulation to keep you warm, it's lightweight and non-bulky, so you don't feel restricted by acres of padding.

Ski Helmet Compatible Hood

If you need to lose some heat on a long traverse or challenging mogul field, then you can simply undo the underarm vents to cool down. The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket has a protective, insulated Ski Helmet compatible hood with volume adjusters to pull it in neatly to suit what you're wearing underneath. Its bonded peak ensuring that any rain (gulp) will run off, handily missing your nose.

Snow-Proof

Snow-and cold-proof seals take the form of a stretch fit powder skirt, internal stretch sleeve cuffs with thumb holes, easy-adjust cuff tabs and an adjustable hem system (with adjusters accessed inside the hand pockets). The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket's powder skirt stays put on top of your Ski Pants with its silicone gripper elastic detail and it can tuck in and snap back out of the way when you're not using it.

Organise with Pockets

Ski-friendly pockets are specifically designated to stow your lift pass, Ski Goggles, smartphone and hands. The chest pockets have contrast Aquaguard zippers, and the large inner mesh Ski Goggle pocket comes complete with an attached Goggle cleaning cloth (remember to only wipe the outside of your Ski Goggle lens!). Also inside is a zipped media pocket with an exit point for headphones. The ski pass pocket is conveniently placed for easy entry at electronic lift pass gates and the zipped hand pockets have a soft, brushed lining.

Reliable Protection

The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket successfully combines form and function for top-notch protection in cold, snowy conditions. You can rely on The North Face Men's Contrin Ski Jacket to handle on- or off-piste challenges over the varied terrain of the mountain's playground - from steep gully to tree lined piste.

Salomon Brilliant jacket

Very pleased with the jacket. A few small niggles, the zip slider is on the right hand side which I find a bit awkward. The chest pockets are adequate but would be better if they were bigger. The internal stash pocket would benefit from a stud or zip to close it.

Goggles are great as expected. Delivered quickly and efficiently. Someone at escape had included a little handwritten note which was a nice touch.

Excellent service. Jacket arrived far quicker than expected. Loved the personal note from Jen. Would normally be a medium, but ordered a large which fits perfectly other than being just a touch long in the sleeve.

Superb 4-season softshell
Tuesday, 13 February 2018  |  Russ

A really versatile, simple and comfortable softshell, ideal for year round use in the hills. Much more robust and protective than a Pertex-type windshell, yet far more breathable and comfortable than a Gore-Tex. Brilliant hood. Cavernous pockets. Highly recommended!
