Arcteryx Index 15 Backpack

A superbly lightweight and versatile rucksack for travel, light day hikes and general everyday use, the Arc'teryx Index 15 Backpack folds up into its own pocket. With plenty of room for storing a spare layer/lightweight waterproof and a packed lunch, the Index 15 Backpack has a roomy main compartment, a zipped front section and interior pockets for organisation on the go.

Lightweight Carrying

Weighing in at a mere 220g, the fold-up Arc'teryx Index 15 Backpack has simple lightweight, adjustable webbing shoulder straps for rucksack carry mode, and a webbing haul loop for an easy hand-held tote. Cord loops on the Arc'teryx Index 15 Backpack's exterior enables attachment of extra kit, for the times you need to transport more.

Hydration/Tablet Compatible

Top loading zip entry into the body of the Arc'teryx Index 15 Backpack, accesses the main compartment, complete with pale grey lining for visibility. The rear of the rucksack holds an elasticated sleeve suitable for storing either hydration pack or tablet, and at the top, there's a zippered pouch to isolate smaller items, that you don't want to lose in the depths of the rucksack.

Folds into Front Pocket

There's an exterior zipped pocket on the front of the Arc'teryx Index 15 Backpack, which is spacious, again with a pale grey lining, and has a key clip, preventing keys becoming hidden. The Index 15 Backpack folds up neatly into this pocket too for space-saving travel and short-term storage.

For Travel, Light Day Hike and Everyday Use

Simple, yet brilliantly versatile, the Arc'teryx Index 15 Backpack offers a well-designed carrying solution for circumstances demanding reduced bulk and weight. Its highly weather-resistant fabric being resilient to wear, yet lightweight and pliable enough to enable folding-up into its own pocket, the Arc'teryx Index 15 Backpack punches far above its weight when it comes to carrying belongings on world-wide day trips.

Initial impressions
Friday, 14 December 2018  |  Andrew

I've purchased these gloves for 2 upcoming trips. Very impressed with the price and service from escape2. The gloves are great but yet to be tested properly. One thing to note is that I ordered large and the gloves are only just big enough for me. I don't consider myself to have very big hands so beware when choosing a size for you. Otherwise all great.

Stylish and incredibly functional

Love this jacket. The longer line and powder skirt are a great addition, especially as I will be using it for hiking as well as skiing.
It has a slimmer fit than the beta AR jacket, which makes it more flattering, whilst still allowing enough room to add plenty of extra layers without hampering movement.
Great shooping experience with Escape 2. Fantastic customer service.

Another great product from Arc’teryx. The fit is trim, but not too tight, layers well and has an excellent warm to weight ratio.

Price and speedy service from Escspe2 is what I’ve come to expect from them, both are outstanding!

Great price

We’ve brought these coats for our children 2 years in a row now. They’re prefect for skiing, and they also use them for school, the orange colour is very bright so we definitely can’t lose them!. We normally buy them for the North Face store however Escape 2 came in at a very competitive price, the service was brilliant and very quick delivery, would definitely recommend to friends

Excellent layering piece.
Tuesday, 20 November 2018  |  Chris

This is an excellent layering piece. I have used it in our 'wonderful' Scottish climate for hiking and found it to be the perfect attribute to the layering system. On the hill, in typical autumn/winter conditions, I use it with a Polartech Powerdry baselayer and it worked very well during the steeper more difficult sections without being too warm. The quality and fit is usual Arc'teryx excellence. Slim fit but definitely room for winter baselayers. I have the Atom SL jacket too, which I use on top for extra protection/insulation when exposed to the elements up on the plateau. This proved to be a great combination. Beads the drizzle well, resists most of the wind and the side panels keep enough ventilation for difficult to beat temperature regulation. Very highly recommended, would definitely buy again. Only point of note, It is very slightly 'roomier' than the SL jacket, I may have fitted into a small for a closer fit or with the medium I could at least wear two layers underneath. Otherwise this will be my go-to set up from now on. This renders most of my other gear redundant it is that good. Big thanks to Escape2 staff for helping me get both Atom SL jacket and Vest, awesome, exactly what I needed.

The North Face Andes Jacket
Monday, 19 November 2018  |  Kelly

I bought this jacket for my 14 year old daughter. Despite it saying boys, it is also suitable for girls. A lovely warm jacket that is very much on trend at the moment. Her twin brother now wants one too! It originally arrived promptly but as I was not in a calling card was left. It was then quite tricky to have it redelivered-this was an issue with APC and not escape2. Once in receipt of the jacket it was nicely packaged and with a personal message on the invoice which was a lovely touch!
I would definitely order another one for my son if delivery was with Royal Mail, which can be collected from local sorting office if I am not in.
